CREW Terms of Use
This English translation is provided for reference. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
About the Service
TBJ CREW (the “Service”) is the ongoing supporter membership of The Borderless Journey, operated by Smoooth Inc. (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”). Members’ monthly or yearly fees are used to run the TBJ ecosystem, including supporting the participation fees of young people and students.
Application and Membership Registration
Your application for the Service is complete once you have selected an amount from the plans listed on the CREW page and paid via Stripe. After your payment is confirmed, our team will email you within a few days with access to the CREW member page (Notion). The perks are the same for every plan.
Fees and Billing
Membership fees are charged and renewed automatically on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the plan you select. All prices shown include tax. Payments are processed through Stripe, and we do not store your card information.
Perks
Members receive invitations to TBJ-related events at the special participant price, access to archives of past events, activity reports, and more. Perks may be changed, added to, or discontinued depending on operational circumstances.
Withdrawal and Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact support@smoooth.co.jp at least 2 weeks before your next renewal date. If we hear from you at least 2 weeks in advance, billing will stop from the next renewal. If you contact us less than 2 weeks before the renewal date, the upcoming renewal will be charged as usual and the cancellation will take effect from the renewal after that. Fees already paid are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.
Refunds
Due to the nature of the Service, membership fees are, as a rule, non-refundable. If there is a clear error on our part, such as a duplicate charge, please contact our team.
Prohibited Conduct
Please refrain from sharing, reposting, or redistributing members-only content or information to third parties. If a member engages in conduct that causes trouble for other members or for the organizers, we may suspend or terminate that membership without prior notice.
Personal Information and Changes to These Terms
For the handling of personal information and the terms of sale, please see the Legal Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. These Terms may be revised as necessary. We will notify you of any significant changes on this page or by email.
